AuraAthletic Fit
Rebekah Chriss is the talent behind AuraAthletic Fit, a platform for empowering women and girls in sports, advocating for equal access, and helping them feel confident and unstoppable.
Watching her youngest daughter thrive as an athlete but struggle with finding gear inspired her to take a closer look at the world of women’s sports, especially the lack of quality athletic apparel for girls and how limited the options are for female athletes. Through AuraAthletic Fit, Rebekah is working to create a space where female athletes, young and old, can find high-quality, performance-driven apparel tailored to their needs.
And it’s as glorious as it sounds.
When Rebekah came to me, it was to create a website that would do two big things. First, she needed an online presence in order to become a vendor with big-name apparel companies like Nike, Adidas, and others. And she needed an elegant way to tell athletes and their parents about her business and its mission.
Done and done. I absolutely love giving women business owners the website they deserve!
Kind words
“I had the pleasure of working with Kristen, and I can’t recommend her highly enough! From the start, she understood the AuraAthletic Fit brand completely and brought my vision to life with ease. The first draft of the website was near perfect, with only a few minor adjustments needed. Throughout the entire process, communication was seamless—no need for follow-ups on my end, as she was always on top of everything. She also took the time to walk me through the process and provided a helpful training video. Even after the site went live, she followed up multiple times to ensure everything was working smoothly and to see if I needed any assistance. I truly enjoyed working with her and will be continuing our partnership for the next phase of my website. If you’re looking for someone who understands your needs and delivers exceptional work, I would recommend her in a heartbeat!”

The web design process
Rebekah already had a professionally designed brand, including a logo and color palette. She also had lots of stunning photos of her daughters playing sports.
I set Rebekah up with a wording outline so she could fill in headings, paragraphs, and button labels. I also connected her to some tools so she could download some high-quality, free stock photos to round out her website.
Rebekah wanted a minimalist site with a clean, simple aesthetic. I had so much fun playing with the design! I paired her brand’s gradient with some black-and-white photos, gentle scroll animations, and sticky elements to create a dynamic, energetic design. I used lots of rounded corners and curved section dividers that speak to her logo, too. Rebekah’s website also enables her to collect email addresses, and includes mass email capabilities so she can send out a notification when her brick-and-mortar and online stores are open in 2025. I added some custom code to create fun button hover effects and a few other bells-and-whistles.
Most importantly of all, I built Rebekah’s website with the future in mind. Once she’s approved as an apparel vendor, she’ll be ready to open her brick-and-mortar store and start selling items online. Her shiny new website has the elasticity to handle e-commerce and will be able to expand as her business grows. Best of all? Upgrading to an e-commerce plan won’t break her piggy bank. Sweet.
