Picasso’s Pizza
Since 1980, Picasso’s Pizza has been throwing dough and serving iconic Buffalo-style pizza—you know, the real deal cup-and-char that you can only get here in the 716. They’ve got deep roots in Buffalo and Western New York, and hometown pride is baked into everything they serve. So when their Chief Marketing Officer popped into my inbox to see if I could work with them on a new website ahead of a new promo they’re doing with some Buffalo Bills players this season, I got all excited. Um, yes?!?!
Bridget Schaefer
Bridget Schaefer is the talented photographer behind Meccay Photography, a wedding and lifestyle photography studio based in Buffalo and working worldwide. When Bridget came to me hoping for a new website, it was because her old website wasn’t working for her any longer. It was difficult to update, and a cobbled-together portfolio system using a third-party site meant that her SEO was suffering. Are those problems I can solve? Yes and yes. What a pleasure it was to shine a spotlight on all of Bridget’s talent!
Danielle Prester
Danielle Prester is the talent behind Prester Mental Health Counseling, a licensed mental health counseling practice serving adolescents, adults and families throughout Buffalo and Erie County. Danielle needed to flesh her Psychology Today profile into a full website that would offer more information about her services and her approach to therapy. Done and done. I absolutely love giving women business owners the website they deserve!
Jen Getty
Jen Getty is the talent behind Zinnia Transaction Coordination, where she manages all of the minutiae of real estate sales for Real Estate Agents throughout Western New York. Her old website wasn’t working for her any longer. The once-great design now felt cluttered and off-brand. It didn’t convey information about her services as clearly as it could have. And it didn’t pass WCAG checks for accessibility and readability, lowering her position in Google search results. A new website was in order. What a pleasure it was to work with Jen and give her the website she deserves!
Farmer Pirates Compost
Farmer Pirates Compost collects food scraps and converts them into nutrient-rich compost. And their website needed a total overhaul—a WIX rescue, a brand update, new navigation, streamlined content, and a splash of fun. Done and done. I love giving small businesses the website they deserve!
John Spacht
John’s my crazily talented brother-in-law :) He and his business partner were launching a new training and consulting business that would serve school districts and logistics companies across New York State. They wanted an ultra-simple, one-page website that would showcase their expertise, list their services, and provide a contact form so folks could reach out. Done and done :) This one was near and dear to my heart and it was a lot of fun to give John’s expertise the platform it deserves!
AuraAthletic Fit
Rebekah Chriss is the talent behind AuraAthletic Fit, a platform for empowering women and girls in sports, advocating for equal access, and helping them feel confident and unstoppable. She needed an online presence in order to become a vendor with big-name apparel companies and tell athletes and their parents about her business and its mission. Done and done. I absolutely love giving women business owners the website they deserve!
Majestic Woods Swissies
Gregory and Donna Rollins are the lovely human beings behind Majestic Woods Swissies. When they came to me, it was because they needed a website that would do more to connect them with prospective adopters. They also wanted to share news and updates, offer breed-specific training and socialization resources, and include an adoption application and contract. Done, done, and done.
Katie Gardiner
Katie Gardiner is an HR whiz and a small business owner herself, so she’s the perfect person to help small- and medium-sized businesses manage HR issues. But her original website didn’t make it easy for prospective clients to find her. Luckily, she found me!
Janice Marie Hunt
Like so many of my clients, Janice started the web design process with only a few pieces of the puzzle. She had created her own logo, but she didn’t have a formal brand. She didn’t know the fonts or colors that she’d like on her site. She knew what she wanted to say, but had no idea how to get it on paper in a format that would work for a website. She didn’t know what photos would be needed or how, exactly, it would all work out. What did she have? Me! I was in her corner from the get-go. And her project is a great example of how anyone can have a gorgeous website—even if all they have is a vision.
Katrina Fulcher-Rood
You’ve already seen Dr. Katrina Fulcher-Rood in my portfolio! She’s a speech language pathologist and the CEO at The Big Picture SLP. When Katrina came to me for her second website project, it was as she was preparing to realize a 20-year dream: opening her own private practice. You know I frikkin’ love helping women bet on themselves. But this one was special.
Jaclyn Wilkinson
Jaclyn Wilkinson launched Fantastic Sitters to connect families with experienced babysitters and nannies. When I first met Jaclyn, her mission was music to my ears. Much has been written about how America’s childcare crisis impacts women. Jaclyn’s business will have a real impact. Jaclyn needed a website that would showcase her expertise and trustworthiness, make it easy for families to find the childcare they need, and connect experienced caregivers with job opportunities. Done, done, and done. What a pleasure it was to give Jaclyn the website she deserves!
Nora Saintz
Nora Saintz is the talent behind Gardenette, a business she launched to garden design services to homeowners and DIYers throughout Western New York. When Nora came to me, it was because her WIX website was not only difficult to manage, it was in need of a refresh ahead of a major Spring 2024 feature in a widely read local magazine. It was imperative that her website look its absolute best!
Nadja Artis
Nadja Artis is the talent behind LuxNic, a company she launched to offer luxury picnics and decor to people throughout Buffalo Niagara. When Nadja came to me, she had just made her business official and needed a website to showcase her talent and help prospective clients find her and book her. I frikkin’ love helping women bet on themselves! What a pleasure it was to give Nadja the website she deserves!
Katrina Fulcher-Rood
Dr. Katrina Fulcher-Rood is an experienced speech language pathologist. When Katrina came to me, she was in the midst of pivoting away from academia and into entrepreneurship. To make the pivot effective, she needed expertly written copy and a fresh, new design for her website. What a pleasure to give her the website she deserves!
Laurie Belanger
Laurie Belanger is a Clinical Social Worker and Trauma Therapist. When Laurie came to me, she was in the midst of preparing to pivot her business. To make the pivot effective, she needed a brand, a photo shoot, and a fresh, new design for her website. What a pleasure to give her the website she deserves!
Apollo Brush
Apollo Brush is a painting supplies company based in Buffalo, New York. When their team came to me, it was because they were a perfect candidate for my Web Design ReDesign package. And while I don’t normally design websites for angry bunnies, I figured I could make an exception just this once.
Kate Anderson Foley, Ph.D.
Kate Anderson Foley, Ph.D., is the talent at the heart of the Education Policy & Practice Group, where she offers future-focused, equity-based consulting, executive coaching, women in leadership coaching, and public speaking. I worked with my partners to create a gorgeous, updated website that would help her showcase expanded services. What a pleasure it was to give Kate the web presence she deserves!
Mary Beth Debus
Mary Beth Debus is the talent behind Program Savvy, which provides consulting and training for nonprofits. She knew exactly what she wanted: A fresh, new look that would elevate her brand and a brand-aligned way to communicate with those interested in her services. Above all, she wanted to easily be able to add new pages, offerings, and resources. Done, done, and done! What a pleasure it was to rescue her from WordPress and give her the web presence she deserves!
Creations by Lena
Jessica Frederick is a talented seamstress with a passion for apparel. She launched Creations by Lena in 2022 to not only give her passion an outlet but honor her late mother Evelina. Creativity is definitely in her blood! And because doing good feels “sew” good, Jessica donates a portion of profits from her “Love Mom” collection to Friends of Night People right here in Buffalo. What a pleasure it was to give her the web presence she deserves!
