Coral Clarke
Coral Clarke is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who helps people approach nutrition as if their life depends on it—because it does. She works with patients suffering from a wide variety of health conditions and helps them through services like nutrition counseling, nutrition evaluation, and menu planning.
When Coral contacted me, she had just decided to strike out on her own. She needed a website that would outline her services, clearly list the insurance plans she accepts, and allow patients to easily schedule appointments through a HIPAA-compliant platform.
I was proud to give her the web presence she deserved.

A fresh web design
Because Coral was starting from scratch, it was important that our work begin not in Squarespace, but on a piece of paper. Yep, you read that right. A sheet of actual, physical paper. I sketched out a storyboard for Coral’s website, indicating text, photos, icons, or buttons. I divided each page on her site into sections like “services” or “about” to help us frame the narrative. Then, I created a digital document that I shared with Coral so she could outline what to include in each section. Once I optimized the copy for search engines and it met with her approval, I brought her vision to life.
Oh, and speaking of starting from scratch—Coral needed a brand to help her position her new business for success. I was happy to refer her to a friend, Casi Hall, who is a talented graphic designer and photographer. Casi gave Coral a beautiful logo, a color palette, and a font palette that I was able to pull onto her website.
I designed Coral’s home page and later added a blog. After I trained her, Coral was able to add more pages and publish blog posts on her own. Seeing a client confidently take ownership of their new website makes me happy :)
