Creative Juices Marketing
After almost a decade in corporate marketing, Tina Anderson could identify many issues with client campaigns that felt disconnected and out of touch. She could tell that business owners were unable to convey their stories authentically and there was no personality in their marketing strategies. She kicked the corporate gig and started Creative Juices Marketing & Events to create a solution.
And create a solution she did. Tina’s got experience with live events, event production, fundraising, merchandising, design, content creation, customer service, social media marketing, reputation management, and more.
When Tina came to me, she already had a logo and brand palette and professional photos. She needed a custom web design to hang her shingle, showcase her work, and connect with her clients.
Done and done. What a pleasure it was to give her the web presence she deserves!
Kind Words
The web design process
When we talked, Tina knew exactly what she wanted: A super simple, super colorful custom web design that she could manage and maintain herself. It needed a portfolio, a news and event listing, and pages that would outline her services and put prospective clients in touch with her. She was able to quickly provide written content for her site and we were off to the races.
Squarespace turned out to be the perfect platform for her new website. Squarespace “just works,” with no need for constant back-end updating or backups. Like almost all of my clients, Tina’s not a tech person and she’s always on-the-go. She doesn’t have time to mess around!
Tina’s brand is bold. And I do mean bold. Dark purple, bright yellow, salmon pink, teal… you get the idea. I decided to lean into the colors, relying on her primary purple and yellow to carry the site but bringing in the secondary and tertiary colors on her Services page. The result is vibrant and exciting—just like Tina’s work.
Because the brand is so bold, I wanted to keep Tina’s website simple. I had lots of fun designing her website with large fonts, fun line graphics, contrasting colors, and a fun scroll-to-stick effect on her Services page.
