Allentown Dental

When Elana Korn, DDS, was ready to take her career to the next level, she did so by buying a dental practice—building and all. And then she set to work building a new brand that would help her differentiate her practice from all the others. The result was a brand that featured a modern skyline drawing, an airy font palette, and a fresh, bold color palette. She just needed a website to match.

Enter my custom web design package. The practice’s existing website had been built years ago using a website builder designed specifically for dentists. But because so many dentists across the country use the system, Elana felt that the website was cookie cutter—and she and her staff found it difficult to update. She wanted something simple to update, easy to navigate, and aligned with the new brand.

Done, done, and done. What a pleasure it was to give her business the web presence it deserves!

The web design process

When we talked, Elana knew exactly what she wanted:

  • A super simple website that she and her staff could easily manage and maintain on their own;

  • A website with a clean look-and-feel to match the new brand elements; and

  • A website that gave patients and prospective patients all the information they needed without any Great Walls of Text or a ton of clicking around.

I knew Squarespace was the perfect platform. It’s a LOT simpler to use than most other web builders—and easier to use compared to the dentist-specific web builder that Elana inherited. Squarespace “just works,” with no need for constant back-end updating or backups. You’ve read this phrase before on my blog… but like almost all of my clients, Elana’s not a tech person. She’s a dentist! She doesn’t have time to mess around with a website—she needs to focus on her patients and their needs.

The new Allentown Dental brand is muted and modern. It’s anchored by greys and blacks. A mature mustard yellow provides a lovely pop of color. I leaned into the color palette to keep the web design as simple and uncluttered as possible. The result? Modern and calming, just like Elana’s dental practice.

Check it out!
