Alana Winnert

Alana Winnert knows the value of mental health—and she knows that so many people struggle with it every single day. She built her career to help! Alana works with Gen Z and Millennial women and teens struggling with symptoms of burnout, compassion fatigue, imposter syndrome, depression, anxiety, and more. Her ultimate goal: To help them build a life they are truly excited about, by allowing them the space to process the trauma that may be weighing them down.

When Alana came to me, she already had a logo and brand palette. She needed a custom web design to hang her shingle, explain her services, and connect with prospective clients.

Done and done. What a pleasure it was to give her the web presence she deserves!

Kind Words

Kristen went above and beyond for my website development! We met 1:1 in the beginning of the process, and then worked collaboratively throughout the entire development of the website to ensure all details were aligned! The website she designed looks amazing and I have heard nothing but positive feedback from everyone that has seen it. Kristen really took time to understand the vibe I was going for and executed it perfectly. She also added in great additions, such as the submission form and tying my Instagram into the website as well! She went through multiple rounds of edits to ensure everything was exactly to my liking and that there were no errors. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to have worked with her on my website! Highly recommend!!

The web design process

When we talked, Alana knew exactly what she wanted: A super simple, brand aligned website that would give visitors a boho vibe—funky, calming, and utterly approachable. She needed a clear way of talking about the three therapy options she offers, information about insurance coverage and payment, and a way for prospective clients to reach out. She already had all of the brand elements, including a gorgeous color palette and funky font palette. And she even had the written content prepared and ready to go. Boom.

I designed Alana’s website on Squarespace. One more time for the folks in the back: My clients are not “tech people” and Alana made it clear that she’s the Non Tech Person Poster Child. I knew that Squarespace would be perfect for her because it “just works,” with no need for constant back-end updating or backups. And that means Alana won’t need to pay constant attention to her site! Instead, she can focus on what matters most: Her clients and their needs.

Alana’s brand is total boho funk and it is glorious. It features chunky shapes, muted colors anchored by a salmon pink and a gorgeous mustard yellow, and a font palette with a strong 70s vibe.

When the time came to design her website, I leaned into her brand hard! I used a warm beige to carry the content but made sure to give the secondary colors a chance to sing solo. I also created some custom section dividers and used Squarespace’s native Shapes block to amp up the boho vibe and give her website a look that’s as unique as her therapy options.

The result is unexpected and fresh—just like Alana.

Take a look at her new website!
