Buffalo CHILL Contracting

Rob White is an experienced contractor serving the Buffalo, NY metro area who recently launched his own firm, Buffalo C.H.I.L.L. Contracting. He offers project management and architectural design, and personally oversees daily operations at every level, from management to field supervision.

When Rob came to me, it was just after he’d formalized his business. He’d begun to perform work and had built up a nice portfolio of before-and-after pictures from both residential and commercial clients. He asked for The Simplest Website Known to Mankind—a simple landing page that would tell clients about his business, showcase his work, and enable them to contact him for a quote.

Done and done. What a pleasure it was to give him the web presence he deserves!

A look at the process

When I talked to Rob, the very first thing out of his mouth was, “I’m not a tech guy!” And that’s okay—Squarespace is built for people who aren’t tech people. I knew it’d be perfect for him. The intuitive drag-and-drop builder is as easy as using PowerPoint, and adding new pictures would be as easy as clicking a pencil icon. Updating his portfolio would take him maybe five minutes, tops.

Rob sent along his photos and used an outline I created to write the wording for his new site. With those assets in hand, I built and launched his site, adding Google Workspace and a custom email address along the way.
