Cynde Johnson is the artist behind Cynde B Photography, based in Jamestown, NY. She provides wedding, engagement, headshot, and family photography for people throughout Chautauqua County and Western New York. She’s got an exceptional eye, and her work is just lovely.

When Cynde came to me, it was because she felt it was time to formalize her online presence. Her existing website was a SmugMug page that directed people to view her galleries and included a basic contact form. She’d just had a logo designed and needed a website that would showcase her expertise and connect to her SmugMug so people could see her beautiful work.

Done and done. What a pleasure it was to give her the web presence she deserves!

A look at the process

I knew Squarespace was the perfect home for Cynde’s new website. Like so many of my clients, Cynde’s not a tech person. I wanted to put her on a platform that “just works” and wouldn’t be a distraction so she could focus on the work that matters to her. Because Squarespace is so easy to use, I knew she’d have no problem dipping in to make updates here and there. (And she’s already proved me right!)

Cynde worked with a graphic designer on her new branding, then used an outline I created to write the wording for each page on her site. With those assets in hand, I built and launched her shiny new website. Here’s a look at a few of the pages:
